The process

How it works

Three steps, fully physician-led — from a no-cost eligibility check to a complete documentation package built to your exam’s standard.

1. Eligibility review — complimentary

You tell us your goal exam, your deadline, any prior diagnoses, and your accommodation history. Before you pay for anything, we confirm whether a clinical evaluation is the right path for your situation — and, just as importantly, whether it isn’t. If your case needs formal cognitive or achievement testing for a suspected learning disorder, we’ll tell you and point you to the right evaluator at no charge.

2. Evaluation & objective testing

Your evaluation is a thorough clinical interview and DSM-5-TR diagnostic assessment, conducted personally by Dr. Mitchell over secure telehealth. Where indicated, it is supported by objective, FDA-cleared computerized testing and validated rating scales, plus a review of your prior records and history — corroborating the clinical picture with measurable data rather than a checklist.

3. Report, forms & letters

You receive a written report that maps your diagnosis to its functional impact under timed testing conditions, along with completion of every required agency form and supporting letter. All forms and letters are included in full with both the Records-Supported and Comprehensive options — no add-on charges to finish the paperwork your exam requires.

Timing

Most reports and forms are completed within days of your evaluation and records review. Because each testing agency ties its accommodation deadlines to specific test administrations, we strongly recommend beginning several weeks ahead of your filing deadline so there is time for the agency’s own review.

A note on outcomes

Accommodation decisions are made solely by the testing agency or institution. Our role is to produce rigorous, objective, defensible documentation built to the standard each agency expects. We do not — and no one ethically can — guarantee a particular result.

Important: This page is informational and does not constitute medical advice or establish a provider–patient relationship. Completion of an evaluation does not guarantee approval of any accommodation; all decisions are made solely by the relevant testing agency or institution, and past approval outcomes do not guarantee future results. Evaluations are available only to residents of states where the provider is licensed (Louisiana and California). A Good Faith Estimate of expected charges is provided to all self-pay clients in accordance with the No Surprises Act.
